Procedure and Recovery
Dr. Brent uses a variety of methods during augmentation surgery and always uses the best one for your unique case. Generally, the surgery is an outpatient procedure, so you can return home the very same day. However, since the procedure requires either sedation or anesthesia, you’ll need someone to drive you.
During the first week, you will need to get as much rest as possible. Compression garments will help ensure your implants settle correctly and provide optimal results. The better you rest and the better you follow your post-op instructions, the better your results will be! After about a week, many patients are able to return to work. However, you will still need to avoid strenuous activity until Dr. Brent gives you the all-clear.
